Copyright law was introduced as the Designs and Patents Act in 1988. The Law enables the creators of any based work to have the right to sue and stop people from using their work for the other people’s needs. The right stops people from copying distribute and adapt the work. Owners have the exclusive statutory right to exercise control over copying and other exploitation of the works. Copyright works on a number of things including Maps, Music, Films, Paintings,  photographs,drawings and Computer programes. Plagiarism is when you copy somebody else’s working a claim it’s your own work.
