Social

I think that socialising has changed a lot with the invention of the internet and all social networking website. Before people had the internet and social network accounts people would have to meet their friends in local communities and also the way they kept in touch is by phone call and sending letters. Because of social networking now people don’t go out to meet there friend because their friends are on social networking sites like Facebook so you can chat to them on there. But with social networking getting more users everyday local communities are being closed because they aren’t making any money as well as getting people there using the equipment. As jobs are changing because now people can work from home and instead of traveling around the world to have a board meeting they can use teleworking to still be a part of the meeting.

Legal

Copyright law was introduced as the Designs and Patents Act in 1988. The Law enables the creators of any based work to have the right to sue and stop people from using their work for the other people’s needs. The right stops people from copying distribute and adapt the work. Owners have the exclusive statutory right to exercise control over copying and other exploitation of the works. Copyright works on a number of things including Maps, Music, Films, Paintings,  photographs, drawings and Computer programes. Plagiarism is when you copy somebody else’s working a claim it’s your own work.

Medical

Medical uses I.T allot in our day before they had I.T the doctors and medical staff had all of our records on paper in folders. But know all of our medical records are on computers so when you go to the doctors all they have to do is find your name on the server and then they have all of your medical records it that easy now. The other way that medical has evolved using I.T is when you are having an operation or a scan. The operations has evolved because now they have create a robot machine that is able to complete a operation while the surgeon or doctors controls the machine in the computer, When you are having a scan now its all computers when you’re having the scan the person controlling the scan can see everything on the computer screen. Then the control prints out the scan to show the patient what’s wrong. With robot operation it allows the medical staff to operate on a patient without being in the same country as the operation is taking place in.

Safety and Security

There are many security aspects on blogger including password you have to know the correct password to gain access to the blog, captcha it proves that you are a human because you can see the letter and computers can’t so it allows you to access the blog but stops computers from hacking or gaining access to the blog. There is also one that when you login to your blog you will get a text message on your mobile phone saying proving that the blog belongs to you. When you log onto a email like blogger it says that the website is secure by have https in the url which stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure or if you look to the right of the url there’s a padlock symbol which also means that the website is secure and safe to put your personal information in.
